The New York Shock Exchange (NYSE) Roller Derby League is proud to announce it will be adopting a new ruleset starting April 1st, 2015. Although the league has trained and played by the Men’s Roller Derby Association (MRDA) Rules since its publication of the first unisex version of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) ruleset in 2011, the NYSE Board of Directors unanimously voted to take the league in an exciting new direction based on long-standing trends of popularity. This upcoming weekend, the New York Shock Exchange All-Stars kick off their 2015 Men’s Roller Derby Association season by traveling to Des Moines, IA to play Your Mom Men’s Derby and the Capital City Hooligans. Saturday, March 7th it’s NYSE vs YMMD and CCH vs YMMD while NYSE takes on CCH the following morning. All games will be at Skate West. Facebook event page here.
